Mock Travel Poster

 

I have always been interested in the old travel posters used to advertise various resorts and attractions in years gone by and thought it would be fun to create one or two for some local areas. The first was for Hornchurch and the original canvas painting sold so quickly I was asked to produce some prints. Another showing the Church in Hornchurch followed this time captioned as 'Essex' and one for Upminster showing the windmill. The original have all been sold but prints can be obtained from Optimum Fine Art ( 01708 440761 ) opposite Hornchurch station. I have been asked to reproduce the Hornchurch painting on canvas again for someone aswell as one depicting Billericay. I intend to follow these up with one for Romford but if anybody has any particular requests then please contact the Gallery and these will be dealt with first.
